The Bushnell Memorial is the principal music and theater venue in Hartford, Connecticut. This image is of the statue of Confucius. It located along one of the facades of the building and facing the state capital, perhaps to inspire wisdom among the lawmakers. The statue is nine feet tall and was given to Connecticut in a 2006 art exchange with the Shandong Province in China.
