University of Connecticut Health Center. The logo of the University of Connecticut Health Center is displayed on the main building of the complex. The building houses John Dempsey Hospital, the School of Medicine, the School of Dental Medicine, and a graduate school offering degree programs in health fields. There is a medical bookstore and a medical library. This is the main building but there are about 37 buildings in the complex.
The main building of the University of Connecticut Health Center can be seen towering in the distance from surrounding highways. The UConn Health Center is an integrated medical education and healthcare facility. It offers degree programs in medicine, dental medicine , and biomedical science. The John Dempsey Hospital opened in 1975.
