Description
Drawing of the United States Navy Ships as it existed in the early 1890s was taken from a guidebook by Moses King: "King's Hand-book of the United States." Date of Publishing: 1891. The Battleship Maine is depicted at the bottom. This ship would later be involved an explosion in Havana that helped spark the Spanish-American War.
I have selected interesting, old 19th century graphic images for digital restoration and editing. The images were adjusted and brightened to make the images suitable for display and other purposes.
