Artist's Description
Here are two relics from another era. The building is the abandoned U We Wash laundromat in the California high desert town of Tecopa Hot Springs. Part of the appeal of this scene is the equally abandoned 51 Ford pickup truck parked outside. It's rusty and multicolored. The mountain background is obscured by the blowing sand of a late afternoon windstorm, muting the colors.
