Map of Mexico, Central America, the West Indies, Cuba [inset]; Jamaica [inset];Bermuda Islands [inset]; and map of the Panama Railroad [inset]. A restored historic map reproduction. American map published around 1863 gives longitude from both Greenwich and Washington. It was a way of continuing the "rebellion" against things British. The map is a beautifully detailed, restored reproduction of a 1863 map. I have selected interesting, old 19th and early 20th century graphic images for digital restoration and editing. The images were then adjusted and brightened to make the images suitable for display and other purposes. The resulting image brings out many details and landmarks, making this map a great historical reference and conversation piece. © 2020 for this restored reproduction.
