Description
This statue overlooks the location of a farm lane where many soldiers died in 1862 during the American Civil War. The statue is titled "The Color Bearer." The artistic effects add character to the image.
The statue atop of the 132nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Monument looks over the Sunken Road (Bloody Lane) at the Antietam National Battlefield. The statue was dedicated on September 17, 1904. I've added artistic touches to the photograph.
